Apadmi and The Mobile Company joined forces in 2022, working in partnership, we are now looking to recruit for a Mobile Developer who will be based in Amsterdam as part of our truly international company.

We hear you thinking. “The Mobile Company? Probably some guys that build mobile apps.” We do. In fact, we are quite good at it.

We were amongst the first to jump onto the mobile train back in the 1990’s. Some saw a wireless phone; we saw technology that would change the world. Since then we have been at the forefront of all major mobile breakthroughs from messaging and mobile websites, all the way to mobile apps.

So, yes, we build great mobile apps. But we do so much more than is visible to the outside world. And that’s where you come in…

What you’ll do

As a Mobile Developer, you are driven to push mobile technologies to a new limit. You will join one of our teams with talented engineers and designers to shape and build the next generation of mobile apps. In short, you will:

Develop highly advanced, secure and high quality apps
Collaborate with other team members to define, design and ship new MVP features
Be an advocate of agile and test driven development
Fix bugs and improve the overall performance of our apps
Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies

What we’re looking for

At least (or preferably) 2 years of working experience in app development and preferably experience with new developments like Flutter
Deep familiarity with various techniques and programming languages (Swift and/or Java, Kotlin, and/or Flutter and/or PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL)
Experience working with frameworks (Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, Core Text)
Solid understanding of working agile and the full mobile development life cycle
English writing and verbal skills
