We are looking for a skilled data scientist with an interest in UX.

Responsibilities

As our AI / Machine Learning Engineer, you’re going to be at the heart of our operation. You’ll need to roll up your sleeves and dive headfirst into:

Designing and implementing killer AI and ML algorithms and integrations that’ll power up our generative UX application. We’re talking about getting your hands dirty with multiple or one of the following: LLMs and their fine-tuning, computer vision, reinforcement learning from human feedback and classic machine learning.
Building sturdy data pipelines for all things related to data - collection, cleaning, preprocessing, augmentation, specifically curated for design and UX tasks.
Balancing the performance and scalability of our ML systems. We want you to minimize computational costs and maximize accuracy.
Identify areas where AI and ML can create value for our customers, and help define the right ML framing of a user problem.
Write, test, deploy, debug and monitor top-quality software code. Your work will be a crucial part of the fluid UX experience we're promising.
Setting up tough validation frameworks. We need to ensure our AI and ML models are robust, accurate, and ready to take on the world.
Keeping up with the Joneses. And by Joneses, we mean the latest in AI and machine learning. We want Flowstep at the forefront of tech innovation.

Qualifications

We're searching for a trailblazer in AI and Machine Learning who’s got some of the following:

A Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a track-record that speaks louder than any degree.
Extensive hands-on experience with some area or areas of artificial intelligence such as LLMs and particularly fine-tuning and soft fine-tuning them, computer vision, RLHF, prompt engineering and classic machine learning algorithms
Solid Python skills and proficiency with data science and ML frameworks like NLTK, Matplotlib, Numpy, spaCy TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
Proven experience with data preprocessing, data pipeline creation, and SQL.
A genuine passion for solving complex problems and turning them into clear, manageable solutions.
A resilient spirit, ready to figure things out autonomously and take the lead in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
