About the job:

My client are a busy developer and are looking for a project manager to join their team. This role will be on a 6 month contract basis with the view to going permanent and the majority of the work will be based in the south of England around Hampshire. The successful candidate will need to be based no more than an hour from Hampshire. They have a very large pipeline of work and are looking for someone to ensure this is all completed on time and within budget.

The business are a residential led developer and will mainly be looking at residential conversions, predominantly around 2 bedroom Bungalows. The development cost will be relatively low around £100k and you will be working on multiple projects at any one time.

This role will be based remotely, and you will be working very autonomously. You will be working across the regions and will be ideally based in the South of England. You will be based on site around 2-3 days per week, ensuring that deadlines are met, meeting with building control and be a very important part of the business growth. Ideally you will be from a construction project management background or building surveying.

Requirements:

Candidate must have specific experience in converting or modifying residential property.
Can provide their own team of contractors- demolition, plumbers/electricians/joiners etc
Ability to adhere to varying regulations as per local authority guidelines.
Management and co-ordination of tradespersons based on a specific schedule of work.
Experience in liaising with Building Control.
Ability in organising materials to sites.
Appropriate qualifications and construction management background desired.
Excellent organisational skills essential.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines to deliver completed properties.
