About the Role

As an AI Engineer at Hupry, you will be at the forefront of developing custom AI models to tackle unique challenges, significantly enhancing our platform's predictive automation capabilities. This pivotal role involves pushing the boundaries of AI to ensure our solutions are innovative, impactful, and aligned with our mission of promoting privacy through generative AI.

Objectives of this Role

Ideate, scope, and train custom AI models to solve previously unsolvable problems, contributing to the advancement of Hupry's technology.
Lead the integration of these models into our platform, enhancing our ability to offer cutting-edge solutions in privacy and generative AI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product gaps and opportunities for innovation based on customer feedback and industry developments.
Serve as the primary technical authority within the team, guiding the direction of Hupry's AI development efforts.

Responsibilities

Build and train bespoke models for innovative solutions that maximize business impact and drive technological advancement.
Proactively identify and address gaps in Hupry's AI product offerings, delivering high-quality feedback and suggestions for improvement to the product team.
Facilitate knowledge sharing, documentation, and the development of tools to scale the AI model customization program.
Act as a bridge between the Applied Research, Product, and Engineering teams, ensuring tight integration and collaboration across departments.

Skills and Qualifications

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong foundation in probability, statistics, algorithms, and machine learning frameworks like Keras or PyTorch.
Proficiency in data structures, data modeling, software architecture, and programming languages such as Python, Java, and R.
Experience in leading complex technical projects and a proven track record of delivering innovative AI solutions.
Excellent time management, organizational abilities, and a desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering and machine learning experience, ideally with exposure to AI model customization and deployment.
Demonstrated ability to work directly with both technical and non-technical customers, understanding their needs and translating complex solutions into actionable insights.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with an innovative mindset and passion for continuous learning.
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
