About the Role:

As our Social Media Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-impact videos tailored to platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and more. You’ll work closely with our creative and marketing teams to edit short-form content that’s optimized for scroll-stopping impact, clear messaging, and high shareability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw footage into polished, platform-specific video content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.
  • Apply text overlays, sound design, transitions, memes, effects, and other enhancements to maximize engagement.
  • Repurpose existing long-form content into short-form clips optimized for each social platform.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social video trends, meme culture, and algorithm preferences.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand campaign goals, brand voice, and target audience.
  • Implement feedback quickly and manage multiple edits simultaneously to meet tight deadlines.
  • Organize and maintain an efficient post-production workflow and video library.



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience editing short-form social video content.
  • Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm—especially for social-first formats.
  • Demonstrated experience creating high-performing content for social media platforms.
  • Understanding of social platform specs, audience behavior, and content trends.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience editing UGC-style, influencer-led, or direct-response ads.
  • Graphic design or motion graphics skills (After Effects, Canva, etc.).
  • Ability to shoot or direct short-form video is a plus.
