What we do
The Merantix AI Campus Berlin is a breakout success! Three years after opening, Merantix has built the leading AI ecosystem and collaboration platform in Europe. More than 1,200 talents across 80 AI companies work and collaborate at the AI Campus in Berlin, and engage in over 250+ events annually on both technical as well as business topics. We have started to take this concept international with our first AI Campus Pop-Up in Basel and London, with audiences of over 600 people in both cities. We have successfully co-initiated the AI House 2024, a platform for the global AI conversation during the World Economic Forum in January 2024 with over 180 speakers and 5,000 attendees.
The Merantix AI Campus is an initiative by the Investment Platform Merantix. Merantix builds and invests in the AI category leaders of tomorrow. In addition to 10 product AI ventures, Merantix has built Merantix Momentum - a 55-people strong AI solutions provider.
Your role
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial and driven individual to join our team and help us grow our community. As Founder's Associate Intern you’ll work closely with the founding team on helping to grow the Merantix ecosystem organisation, and help our community in Berlin and other places succeed. You’ll also work closely with the founding team on our expansion plans as well as developing new offerings for our community.
This is a full-time 6 months position, starting in April 2024.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Contain
- Helping to grow the Merantix ecosystem:
- Own growth work streams and be a sparring partner to our founding team
- Develop materials for partners and stakeholders to help us scale our current offerings
- Support our expansion plans by doing research and support with our growth initiatives such as: AI House, Merantix AI School and other expansion projects
- Helping the community in Berlin to succeed:
- Support the community team with the daily life on campus such as: organising events, promotion and marketing initiatives
- Support with daily operations around campus, and help optimize our processes setting us up for scale.
Your profile

- You have a growth mindset and are looking for a fast-paced environment;
- You have a BSc degree in business or social sciences;
- You have a passion for community building and connecting people;
- You are a hands-on, creative personality with an eye for the detail;
- You are tech-savvy and feel comfortable with using digital tools such as Canva, Notion and Google Suite
- You are highly self-organised and have a structured approach to work with an ability to multitask;
- You have excellent communication (verbal and written English) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams;
- Ideally, You have already gained your first working experience in a similar role within a dynamic entrepreneurial environment.
