Bip.Monticello’s Financial Services practice area has helped our clients embrace uncertainty and drive innovation in capital markets and commercial banking for more than 18 years. To assist our clients with the next wave of change initiatives, we are seeking management consultants who have experience working on Capital Markets (or similar) projects at leading financial institutions. Our team of consultants will assess the current state, identify, and remediate issues, and advise on strategic changes to improve the business.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience for a top-tier consulting firm, global investment bank or Fortune 500 company.
- Ability to master complex tasks with minimal supervision and communicate ideas effectively and solve problems creatively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to conduct root cause analysis on system, process or production problems and ability to provide viable solutions.
- Strong teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively with project teams to ensure project objectives are achieved and ability to work with technology groups to ensure project issues are resolved.
- Investment Banking/Capital markets experience working on strategic projects.
- Ability to analyze business process and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ability to conduct a gap analysis and provide current state vs future state analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science or related field.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Solid data skills: ability to work and analyze large data sets.
- Proficient in the following data skills: SQL (Can support user queries and generate ad-hoc reports).
- Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
- Experience with Capital Markets traded products (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Treasuries, etc.).
- Knowledge of Capital Markets product trade lifecycle including Front-Office, Middle-Office, and Back-Office processing steps.
- Background in Federal Reserve 2052a daily liquidity reporting would be a nice to have.
- Knowledge of Agile to participate in sprint schedules through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Working knowledge of Alteryx, PowerBi, and Tableau is preferred.
**The base salary range for this role is $90,000-$130,000**
