As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining advanced Business Intelligence solutions. This role entails close collaboration with various departments to grasp their requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. Proficiency in PowerBI or Tableau and other pertinent tools, along with familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and Azure technologies like Azure Data Factory, is essential.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and implementing dashboards and reports;
- Creating data models and optimizing data structures;
- Crafting complex formulas for advanced analysis;
- Conducting ETL processes;
- Utilizing data lakes and other advanced storage solutions;
- Collaborating with different teams to transform insights into actionable BI solutions;
- Responsively addressing the needs of internal customers with appropriate BI solutions;
- Proactively identifying, analyzing, and solving problems using innovative approaches.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience as a BI Specialist;
- Proficiency in PowerBI or Tableau, PowerQuery, and SAS;
- Extensive knowledge of DAX, M, IML, or Python;
- Experience with data modeling techniques such as SnowFlake, DataVault, or StarSchema;
- Familiarity with ETL processes like Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SSIS;
- Understanding of storage solutions including data lakes.
