TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful Federal General Contractor in the San Diego, CA area on their search for a Quality Control Manager to oversee Federal / Military Construction Projects ranging in value up to $50 M.
Job Title: Quality Control Manager (4+ years of Federal Construction Experience)
Project Types: Federal, DoD, Naval, Military, BEQ, USACE, NAVFAC, USAF, Hangar
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to perform all essential Quality Control Manager job responsibilities
- Keep as-built records
- Manage project deliverables
- Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
- Keep up to date QC daily reports
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with all on-site employees
- Set up and see-through all tests and inspections
- Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting
Skills & Qualification:
- 4+ years overseeing projects for a reputable general contractor(s).
- EM-385-1-1
- CQCM Certification
- First Aid/CPR Certified
- OSHA 30
- Travel as needed to various Project Sites
- Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related to an Engineering field, preferred.
