hackajob has partnered with one of the largest multinational telecommunications and media conglomerate. We are currently seeking for a C/C++ Developer who can develop a software update process for existing applications and assists in the roll-out of software releases.
Role: C/C++ Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Salary: $100K- $155K depending on experience + benefits package
Skillset:
- 5+ years of professional experience in crafting embedded software applications
- Proven C/C++ and Java programming skills and a good understanding of operating system fundamentals
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles
- Experience with Linux kernel and device driver development and deployment
- Background in Yocto, PKI, x509 v3, and embedded security
- Knowledge of Cryptography Extensions, OpenSSL, EmbedTLS, and Bouncy Castle libraries Knowledge in encryption technologies and protocols
- Familiarity with source control systems (GitHub, Gerrit)
- Proficiency in Continuous Integration and Deployment tools (Jenkins, Concourse)
- Deep understanding of the HTTP/S protocol
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in Angular, Python, and GoLang to code, design, and develop software
- Experience working with Internet-of-Things frameworks or platforms (Apple HomeKit, Xfinity, Nest, AWS IoT, etc.)
- Comfort with tools such as debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Experience working on RDK devices
