Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Application/Enterprise Architect to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating OS tasks, scripting for Linux and Windows servers, and configuring cloud security tools in AWS and Azure environments. Additionally, the candidate should possess a strong understanding of cloud security concepts, principles, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Automate OS tasks, scripting, and patching automation for Linux and Windows servers in cloud environments at scale.
- Configure and manage cloud security tools such as encryption, identity and access management, logging, and auditing.
- Analyze and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM/SOAR platforms, ensuring timely resolution.
- Identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations and compliance issues using automation and scripting techniques.
- Develop and update cloud security policies, standards, and guidelines based on industry standards.
- Provide cloud-native architecture guidance, security architecture guidance, and policy remediations to customers.
- Collaborate with ITSM functions (Change management, Incident management, Problem management, Request management) as they apply to tools and platforms used by the team.
Technical Skills/Experience:
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, with knowledge of GCP being a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security concepts, principles, and best practices.
- Understanding of OS fundamentals (Windows or Linux) and OS security principles.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR technologies and analyzing security logs.
- Familiarity with cloud security tools such as AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or GCP Security Command Center.
- General experience working within ITSM processes in an enterprise context.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer are a plus.
