Packaging and Graphic Designer
GEMA Products LLC, maker of professional art supplies and craft products is seeking a junior to
mid-level Packaging & Graphic designer to join our fast-growing team! This person should have.

The ideal candidate for this role should be able to execute designs and direction of new brands.

Director. Candidate will take existing graphics and apply them across the board which may
include branding, component and package designs. Creativity and attention to detail is key!
Responsibilities:
• Ability to take a package design from concept to production using factory die lines.
• Create final mechanicals for production and send to overseas factories.
• Create renderings of product concepts via Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop.
• Maintain accuracy of all design elements as director by Creative Director.
• Design new package and graphic designs and the ability to take direction.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 1-3+ years of experience in package design.
• Fluent in Adobe CC including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Experience working with and communicating with factories regarding print files.
• Exceptional attention to detail, encompassing font consistency, and correct branding.
• Understanding of typography and their application across brands.
• Photo composition and retouching skills a must.
• Time sensitive and team player possessing a keen eye for detail.
• Must be organized and able to place files correctly on our server.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and one time.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of 4-Color printing and the ability to set up final mechanicals for mass printing
inclusive of using Pantone colors, indicating special inks and/or foils on final Illustrator files.
