Job Title: Data LakeHouse Specialist

General Summary
This position is a technical role that has the responsibility of designing and implementing a Data LakeHouse architecture.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Experience designing and implementing a Data LakeHouse.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy by implementing validation checks and error handling mechanisms.
- Experience designing and implementing BI data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
- Familiarity with SAP and SAP data in a manufacturing setting.
- Participate in the design and development of the data LakeHouse, as well as creation of user and SOP documentation.
- Experience with IDMC Catalog and Data Governance a plus.
Decision Making Capabilities
- Decide if requested projects are technically feasible within the capabilities of the current systems and technologies.
- Defining and optimizing data pipelines.
- Choose and implement the best solution that meets data requirements with optimal performance.
Job Specifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems field with 3+ years of experience working with Data LakeHouses.
Understand and perform basic Snowflake DBA functionality including but not limited to
- Stored Procedures,
- JavaScript
- User Defined Functions
- Stages
- Data Pipelines
- Strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional).
Understanding of business data and its various sources including but not limited to SAP, both ECC and S4/Hana
Understanding of database technologies and data warehouse methodologies.
Strong business and communication skills.
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
Must exhibit a proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
High initiative and ability to prioritize in a high-pressure environment.
Must be able to work on simultaneous projects.
