Speak Speech Therapy is a private pediatric speech therapy practice that is commited to providing high quality therapy services to children diagnosed with autism and other communication disorders/impairments. SST provides speech therapy services across the greater Houston metro area in ABA Centers, private schools and two Speak Speech Therapy Clinics. Our team, consisting of certified Speech-Language Pathologists and Assistants, is dedicated to helping children and young adults communicate using words, sign, gestures, pictures and AAC devices.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Insurance Biller. The Medical Insurance Biller will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to medical insurance billing, including submitting claims, rebilling denied claims, managing denials, experiencing billing multiple codes, an understanding of working with ICD-10 codes, and interacting with insurance providers such as Medicaid Plans, Cigna, BCBS, UHC.
This is a full-time, in-person, Monday -Friday, 830-5:30 position. PTO and paid holidays are offered after the successful completion of the first 90 days.
This position is located in Tomball, TX.
Qualifications
- Experience with billing multiple CPT codes is REQUIRED.
- Proficiency in ICD-10 coding
- Knowledge and understanding of medical insurance billing processes
- Familiarity with Medicaid and commercial Ins. guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in speech therapy or the healthcare industry REQUIRED
