About the job
We are seeking a Director of Digital Marketing & Social Media to lead demand generation efforts across our digital platforms. You will lead the Marketing Department and Social Media team with the support of Chief Creative Officer. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our Digital Marketing and Social Media strategy to increase our online presence, improve our marketing sales efforts and ultimately meet our brand goals. You'll optimize data-driven strategies, collaborate with agencies to enhance programs, and identify emerging trends. Your role includes evaluating and upgrading our marketing strategies, forecasting performance, and managing the digital marketing department and social media. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you'll be crucial in building, expanding, and leading our digital marketing programs, initiatives, and teams. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Digital Marketing Strategy & Optimization Data-Driven Insights: Develop comprehensive digital marketing plans, utilizing best practices and data-driven strategies. Monitor results and utilize data analytics to inform strategic decision-making and optimize campaigns.
- Digital Marketing Expertise & Audience Engagement and Conversion: Drive digital marketing results via various channels such as our website, Shopify, paid search, SEO, social media, and email campaigns to engage and convert audiences.
- Targeted Digital Marketing: Develop and execute targeted digital programs to drive brand awareness and desire.
- Brand-Partnerships: Develop a portfolio-business strategy to drive digital marketing plan tailored to brand collaborations to drive growth and brand awareness. Develop partnerships across operations to understand unique market and brand expansion.
- Testing Strategies & Marketing Technology: Develop testing strategies in partnership with Campaign, Field Marketing, and Operations to improve all areas of the program. Evaluate and recommend marketing technology to automate processes and drive results.
- Agency Management & Campaign Reporting: Work with various digital agencies to drive results, identify new programs and testing opportunities. Present standardized campaign reporting across all channels and strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
- Team Leadership & Team Player: Manage the team focusing on scalability, driving results, and automation. Be an integral part of the marketing leadership team to create a best-in-class marketing program.
- Goal Definition & Ownership: Define and own goals, KPIs, budget, placement allocations, and performance forecasts.
- Lead the Digital Marketing and social media team and work cohesively with the media department to design and implement social media strategies.
- Maintain and enhance our social media accounts.
- Execute campaigns within various social media platforms.
- Understand the digital journey for our brand and coordinate the entire media campaigns.
- Serve as a liaison for the social team with the other departments at PWNY.
- Create strategic paid campaigns for social media platforms including (but not limited to) Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and X (Twitter)
- Analyzing social media strategy and campaigns to be proactive for campaign success.
- Understand social benchmark trends for brand verticals.
- Proactively work to achieve goals for the brand success.
- Research social media trends and educate others within the department.
- Manage/oversee day-to-day management of digital marketing & social media campaigns.
- Train, plan and develop as we grow the marketing and social media team.
- Manage the schedule and priorities of the digital marketing and social media department.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, PR or a related field with the ability to develop strategies and execution plans.
- 3+ years in digital marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies and campaigns, social dedia coordinator/specialist or similar role.
- Social Media experience (paid and organic) on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit among others.
- Experience in fashion startup business, online-retail, luxury marketing or public refashions is preferred but not required.
- Digital Marketing for international businesses is preferred, with an in-depth understanding including but not limited to: SEO principles, PPC, LSA, online review management, and social media.
- Experience working with various stakeholders, supporting multiple sites, and handling change management and integration of acquired entities, with excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excel in navigating a fast-paced business industry, managing competing priorities, and adapting quickly to changing circumstances, ensuring alignment on business goals, KPIs, and market trends.
- Analyze performance, provide actionable recommendations, and deliver continuous improvements across the channel portfolio to increase impact, with proven analytics experience and exceptional organizational skills.
- A champion in continuously advancing one-to-one member engagement, with digital marketing expertise and agency management experience, including holding accountable for results.
- Proficient in using multi-social posting programs such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite
- Social media certification is preferred, but not required.
- Agency experience preferred, but not required.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
- Extremely detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills
- Relevant experience in determining strategic targets for campaigns.
