Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the ICU department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Lead and manage a team of ICU nurses, providing mentoring, coaching, and support
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize patient outcomes
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in critical care nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in critical care nursing and healthcare management
