Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of
1 Project Manager 1.Role Summary: This position will develop and implement a provider recruitment team to provide oversight project activities including the provider enrollment for the TVFC program in Texas. The TVFC provider recruitment team will assess targeted recruitment strategies for healthcare providers to join the TVFC program. This position will be responsible for implementing a strategic plan to expand the TVFC provider network and increase immunization access statewide. Responsibilities of the team will also include conducting monthly TVFC provider recruitment webinars and meetings with program partners to provide guidance on recruitment activities for the TVFC program provider. In order to achieve the program goals and objectives, the TVFC recruitment team will build and strengthen partnerships with potential program providers, DSHS Public Health Region, local health department and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Oversight (30%):
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the TVFC provider network statewide.
- Provide direction and guidance to a team of Program Specialist IV Temporary Contractors, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
- Supervise and support the team, offering training and performance management to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Partnership Management (25%):
- Maintain partnerships with DSHS Responsible Entities (REs), healthcare providers, and stakeholders to identify expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with partners to enhance immunization efforts through joint initiatives and resource sharing.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate recruitment effectiveness and program performance.
Recruitment Strategy Development (20%):
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive recruitment strategies targeting diverse populations across Texas regions.
- Analyze data and market trends to prioritize recruitment efforts effectively.
Training and Technical Assistance (15%):
- Provide training, guidance, and technical assistance to the team and partners on recruitment best practices and program requirements.
- Support the development and dissemination of training materials to enhance partner capacity.
Project Support and Representation (5%):
- Support Vaccine Operation Unit and Immunization Section with project-related tasks.
- Represent the Vaccine Operation Unit in meetings, conferences, and forums with stakeholders and government agencies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in team management, recruitment, and performance evaluation.
- Knowledge of public health, health promotion, and education.
- Proficiency in program planning, administration, and evaluation.
- Familiarity with Information Technology in healthcare and public health registries.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management abilities and proficiency in software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Work hours and location:- Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
- The primary work location(s) will be at 1100 W 49TH ST, Austin, Texas 78756.
- Position is 100% ONSITE at the location listed above (NO REMOTE WORK). Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.
- Candidates must already reside in Texas.
