The Liquid Analytics Data Scientist is responsible for analyzing commercial outcomes and providing insights throughout the product lifecycle (including commercial outcomes forecasting and effectiveness). You’ll be responsible for developing analytical prototypes and scalable analytical solutions that provide competitive advantages to our clients within the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences space.

Responsibilities:

•    Conceptualize, build, test and validate data-driven predictive models, proofs of concepts, forecasting algorithms and machine learning models, as well as implementing efficient automated processes for producing modeling results at scale. 
•    Work cross-functionally and with our clients to define problem statements, collect data, build solutions and make recommendations.
•    Leverage tools like Python, R & SQL to drive efficient analytics.
•    Communicate complex ideas and final recommendations effectively in a visually appealing and easy to understand manner to a variety of audiences to ultimately drive decision-making.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research or other related fields)
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry or graduate level research experience solving analytical problems and building models using quantitative, statistical or machine learning approaches and applied statistical packages and scripting languages (e.g. R, Python).
  • Expertise in writing SQL queries
  • Hands-on experience performing data extraction, cleaning, analysis and presentation for medium to large datasets
  • Demonstrated skills in building scalable prototypes; demonstrated capability in building scalable analytical solutions
  • Ability to work as a team player with good interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills
  • Prior experience in one or more relevant commercial areas (Life Sciences, Commercial Effectiveness, Salesforce and/or market research) strongly preferred.

Candidates should be flexible/willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
