Role Overview

Responsible for improvement of business processes and support of critical business strategies by managing the design, development, implementation, integration, and maintenance of data integration and ETL workloads leveraging cloud-based technologies and services, with a sharp emphasis on data conversion and migration. Coordinate with both business users and software developers to integrate new processes with existing ones and to influence continued process improvement supported by technology throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable data migration workloads
• Selecting appropriate services to design and deploy a workload based on given requirements.
• Migrating complex, multi-tier applications.
• Up to 10% occasional travel

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree Required in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar technical discipline

Skills & Experience

• 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer with .NET Framework/Core data application development (C# preferred), with a familiarity in the migration of .NET Framework code to .NET Core
• 2 years managing data in SQL Server (preferred), Postgres, or Oracle
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business to proactively respond to changing business environment
• Advanced proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
