Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Ecommerce Java Developer to join our dynamic development team.

As a Senior Ecommerce Java Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our ecommerce platform's backend components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance systems that enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Java Development: Design and develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient Java code for ecommerce backend systems.
2. Ecommerce Architecture: Collaborate with architects and team leads to contribute to the overall design and architecture of our ecommerce platform.
3. System Integration: Implement and maintain integrations with third-party services, payment gateways, and external APIs to optimize ecommerce operations.
4. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of backend systems to ensure fast page load times and smooth user experiences.
5. Security: Implement and adhere to best practices for secure coding and ensure the protection of customer data.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
7. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and foster knowledge sharing within the development team.
8. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ecommerce functionality.
9. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation and system architecture diagrams.
10. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and contribute to their professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Java Developer with a focus on ecommerce projects.
• Strong proficiency in Java development, including Spring Framework and related technologies.
• Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
