General Summary
The SQL Developer designs, develops, and maintains database systems that support business applications and processes. This role involves writing complex queries, creating stored procedures, and ensuring data integrity while collaborating within the department and with teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Database Management
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable databases
• Optimize queries and resolve performance issues
• Ensure high data integrity and availability
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Implement and maintain security best practices
Tabular Models
• Develop and maintain tabular models to support business reporting and analysis
• Optimize models for performance and usability
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in all data reports
ETL and Data Integration
• Design and implement ETL processes to integrate data from various sources
• Develop, test, and maintain SSIS packages
• Monitor ETL processes and promptly resolve integration issues
Reporting & Analytics
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights
• Translate business requirements into effective data solutions
• Produce clear documentation to assist business users in data interpretation
Team Collaboration
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and deliverables
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical team members
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Five (5) years in SQL development and database management
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field / relevant work experience
• Proficient in SQL Server, T-SQL, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with SSAS (tabular models) and SSIS

Typical business casual office environment. Our SQL Developer reports directly to our Manager of Digital Experience, Process Optimization, and Data Analytics.
