Job Title: Sr Data Architect with Azure Purview & Payer Experience - 100% Remote
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract
Location: Remote must work PST time zone as Company based out of California
Project Overview: Looking for a Data Architect with healthcare payer experience for a 6-12 month contract. The project is implementing Microsoft Purview
Someone who has done this type of work in the healthcare vertical and can help guide us in the best design patterns for organizing payer data.
Responsibilities:

Claims Data Transformation: Lead the effort to translate 837/835 data into a dimensional data mart in Amazon Redshift, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Integration with Clinical Data: Collaborate with internal teams to establish links between claims data and the internal Encounter ID present in clinical datasets.

Patient Data Normalization: Work towards normalizing patient information by developing a consolidated patient ID system, aligning with industry best practices.

Guidance on Design Patterns: Provide expertise in healthcare data architecture, offering guidance on the best design patterns for organizing claims data within the AWS environment.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and incorporate feedback into the data architecture.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the data architecture, design decisions, and implementation details.

Performance Optimization: Implement strategies for optimizing data retrieval and processing, ensuring the system meets performance and efficiency standards. Qualifications:

Deep Claims Experience: Significant experience working with claims data in the healthcare sector.

Data Architecture Expertise: Proven track record in designing and implementing data architectures, particularly in AWS environments, with a focus on Amazon Redshift.
