TalEx is partnering with a digital media services organization to identify a Front End (UI) Web Developer for a long term contract role in New York City, NY.
The Front End Developer will possess a strong knowledge of Javascript/HTML/CSS and a love of clean code. They will assist RYOT Studio in building and maintaining a proprietary CMS to distribute content. The Front End Developer will partner with senior leadership and design team to ensure that all elements of RYOT’s web presence are meeting needs, while maintaining efficiency and aesthetic quality. They will also work with creative teams to develop web-based projects for clients.
A Lot About You
You have a deep knowledge and understanding of front end web development
Experience building a CMS or similar web application for use in a business environment
Ability to problem solve quickly and strategically
Execute at the highest level of quality and efficiency
Ability to identify opportunities to improve and streamline current process and structure of web products
Know how to get things done fast, whether its a launch campaign or a website reskin
You are easily able to collaborate with Strategy, Account Management, Business Development and Production
Your Day:
Build and maintain proprietary CMS interface to distribute RYOT custom content
Work with creative team to support the creation of web-based projects for clients
Partner with multiple facets of team to ensure CMS and RYOT’s web-based products are meeting the needs of the team
Partner with design team to maintain the aesthetic quality of the site
You Must Have:
2+ years of front end web design experience at a notable site or agency
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline
High level of skill with HTML, CSS and Javascript
Positive attitude, genuine team player with a self-starter and go-getter attitude
Highly organized and able to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment
