About the Role:

We are hiring an Associate Data Analyst to support the migration and enhancement of business intelligence dashboards and reports from Looker to Power BI, with a focus on delivering actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of data visualization, Microsoft Fabric, MS Power BI, Snowflake, along with the ability to quickly interpret and troubleshoot dashboards and reports. Must have a collaborative mind-set and experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment—especially within the banking industry is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Under general supervision, builds and maintains KPIs, dashboards, reports, and data related products.         

• Gathers and cleans datasets from predefined sources.

• Performs basic data preparation tasks (e.g., formatting, merging, deduplication) under guidance.

• Conducts exploratory data analysis on smaller datasets to identify basic trends or patterns.

• Supports analysts by preparing data for business questions and assisting with simpler analyses.               

• Generates standard reports and assists in creating basic dashboards with supervision.

• Learns and utilizes visualization tools to communicate straightforward insights.

• Assists in gathering requirements from business units.

• Provides basic guidance to stakeholders on data self-service tools and data security basics.               

• Assists with ePMO projects and tasks.

• Executes established quality checks to ensure data accuracy and flag inconsistencies.

• Identifies inefficiencies in routine tasks and suggest possible automations.

• Provides preliminary insights that contribute to team-driven decision-making processes.

• Collaborates cross-functionally to align with business goals, with supervision.

Position Requirements:

• This position is Remote.

• Bachelor’s Degree, or commensurate experience is Required.

• 1+ years of experience within Data Analysis, and Data Visualization Analysis is Required.

• Experience with SQL, Excel, or Python for data extraction and analysis is Required.

• Familiarity with a centralized data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake) and willingness to learn advanced capabilities is Required.

• Ability to create basic reports using Excel and Power BI is Required.

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate Certification is Required.
