Work Shift: PST (asynchronous work with 1 weekly meeting)

Working Hours: Part-time (20 hrs per week to start; ramping up to 40 hr per week)Β 

Job Description:

We are seeking a Creative Strategist / Video Editor who is passionate about creating impactful short-form content and driving results through direct-response advertising. The ideal candidate combines strong video editing skills with a strategist’s eye for virality, storytelling, and audience engagement. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment, is proactive in experimenting with creative angles, and can leverage AI tools for speed and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw customer video assets into multiple viral-style short-form ads (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Ads).
  • Craft strong hooks and captions optimized for direct response and conversions.
  • Manage outreach to creators for UGC (user-generated content) collaborations.
  • Generate viral video concepts that align with both cultural trends and Christian values.
  • Stay updated on short-form content trends, competitor ads, and best practices for engagement.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate editing, ideation, and content production.
  • Collaborate with the founder to refine creative strategy and scale winning ad concepts.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in short-form viral content creation (TikTok, Reels, YT Shorts, Facebook Ads).
  • Strong video editing skills (experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar platforms).
  • Direct-response marketing knowledge, particularly in ad copy, hooks, and storytelling for conversions.
  • Familiarity with creator/UGC outreach and management.
  • Ability to use AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance creative output.
  • Take initiative to test new ideas and optimize for results.
  • Deeply cares about impact and alignment with the company’s goals.
  • Understands and resonates with Christian values and can thoughtfully incorporate them into content.
  • Has a strong instinct for what makes content engaging, shareable, and high-performing.
  • Can scale from strategy to execution and manage multiple projects.
