Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of senior data scientists and engineers to analyze data, develop models, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your technical skills, gain hands-on experience with machine learning and data analytics, and contribute to impactful business solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of data science models and software applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data, performing data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing for analysis and model development.
  • Write efficient and maintainable code in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, SQL) while adhering to coding standards.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures (arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues), and algorithms (sorting, searching) for solving computational problems.
  • Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning frameworks to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving in data pipelines and modeling tasks.
  • Gain hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align data science solutions with organizational goals.
  • Continuously seek feedback, embrace learning opportunities, and participate in discussions to improve problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Exhibit self-leadership by demonstrating teamwork, responsibility, adaptability, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or relevant academic/internship experience.
  • Proficiency in one programming language (Python, R, SQL, or similar).
  • Understanding of fundamental software engineering concepts, development methodologies, and coding best practices.
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) and machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage and processing.
  • Understanding of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, SQL-based databases).
  • Exposure to natural language processing (NLP) or time-series analysis.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
