Requirements
We are
looking for an experienced Data Scientist III to design and implement
complex data-driven solutions, applying advanced statistical modeling and
machine learning techniques to solve business challenges. In this role, you
will work independently and collaboratively to build scalable,
high-impact data products while mentoring junior team members and influencing
strategic technical decisions.
As a mid-level data scientist, you will bring deep
expertise in programming, data engineering, and algorithm development,
ensuring efficient, maintainable, and secure implementations. You will also
play a critical role in managing technical debt, driving innovation, and
optimizing data pipelines and models for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently
design, develop, and deploy complex machine learning models and
data-driven solutions that enhance business operations and
decision-making.
- Write idiomatic,
maintainable, and efficient code in at least one programming language
(e.g., Python, R, SQL), improving code readability and collaboration.
- Apply software
engineering best practices to develop scalable data applications,
integrating frameworks, libraries, and tools for robust application
development.
- Utilize advanced
statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and AI techniques to
extract meaningful insights from complex data sets.
- Design
and implement secure, scalable, and modular data architectures,
adhering to best practices in security and risk mitigation.
- Troubleshoot complex data challenges, independently addressing issues and
recognizing opportunities for data optimization.
- Manage
and reduce technical debt by identifying inefficient processes,
improving infrastructure, and ensuring model reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate
with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and
business stakeholders, to align data solutions with organizational
goals.
- Lead
and facilitate technical discussions, mentoring junior data scientists
and engineers while fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Actively
participate in hiring processes, technical interviews, and
knowledge-sharing initiatives to support team growth and development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine
Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5-7
years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and
software engineering.
- Proficiency
in at least one programming language (Python, R, SQL, or similar).
- Deep
understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development
methodologies.
- Expertise
in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch,
Scikit-learn) and data processing tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop,
Pandas).
- Experience
designing secure, scalable, and efficient architectures,
incorporating security best practices to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Strong
experience in feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and
deployment in production environments.
- Knowledge
of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big
data technologies.
- Ability
to communicate complex data concepts effectively to technical and
non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Experience
with MLOps and automated machine learning pipelines.
- Understanding
of natural language processing (NLP), deep learning, or reinforcement
learning.
- Hands-on
experience with CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models.
- Familiarity
with data privacy regulations and ethical AI practices.
