This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manager, Data Governance (Cyber Risk & Analysis) in the United States.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to lead cyber risk and analysis initiatives across enterprise-scale data platforms. This role involves implementing best practices for data management, security, and compliance while partnering with business and technical teams to mitigate risk and enhance operational processes. You will have the opportunity to shape governance frameworks, drive automation, and ensure the integrity and security of data in cloud-based systems. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strategic decision-making, and providing actionable insights to leadership while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Accountabilities

·         Lead the development and execution of enterprise data governance and cyber risk strategies.

·         Design, implement, and maintain data management controls to protect against threats and support business objectives.

·         Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technical, and risk teams to ensure compliance and facilitate growth.

·         Interpret, communicate, and present data governance requirements to senior leadership, influencing decision-making and process improvements.

·         Monitor and analyze data management operational and risk metrics, reporting findings to inform strategy.

·         Identify automation opportunities and implement enhancements to streamline governance processes.

·         Lead and manage projects and initiatives that advance the organization’s data transformation in cloud-based platforms.



Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.

·         5+ years leading complex data risk initiatives within cloud architectures.

·         5+ years of experience in risk management.

·         4+ years of technical experience in data security, data analytics, or cybersecurity.

·         4+ years of experience collaborating with internal business clients.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.

·         Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information to executive audiences.

·         Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate calmly under pressure.

·         Preferred: Enterprise-level data management experience, project management expertise, and certifications such as CDMP, CISM, CRISC, or CIPP.

·         Competitive salary range: $144,000 - $164,400 (Remote), $158,400 - $180,800 (McLean, VA).
