Job Title: Social Media Manager (Entertainment Industry)

Location: Remote | Type: Full-Time

About Our Client

Our client is a leading online platform and community for professionals in the entertainment industry. They connect filmmakers, writers, actors, and other creatives, providing resources, education, and networking opportunities to help them advance their careers.

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior-level, highly autonomous Social Media Manager to take full ownership of our client's digital presence. The primary goal of this role is to consolidate all social media responsibilities, currently handled by multiple team members, into a single expert who can drive a cohesive and engaging content strategy.

This is a full-time position with a strong emphasis on creating compelling video content, particularly short-form videos and reels, to grow the brand's audience and engagement across all platforms. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-sufficient professional who can "take the ball and run with it."

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy, creating and scheduling engaging content for all primary accounts, including Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, and Threads.

  • Lead all video editing efforts, with a particular focus on producing high-quality, short-form content and reels tailored for each platform.

  • Manage and grow the company's YouTube channel through consistent posting and audience engagement strategies.

  • Align the content strategy across the main brand accounts, various division accounts, and the CEO's professional accounts to ensure a consistent brand voice and message.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Senior-Level Experience: This is a senior role; junior candidates will not be considered. You must have a proven track record of managing social media at a strategic level.

  • Industry Background: A strong background in the entertainment industry or filmmaking is highly preferred. You should understand the nuances of communicating with a creative audience.

  • Agency Experience (Bonus): Experience working in a marketing agency is a plus, as it often involves managing high-volume, multi-platform content for various brands.

  • Autonomy & Initiative: You must be a proactive, self-sufficient professional who can independently manage the entire social media function without needing a pre-written playbook.
