ML Data Engineer

Augmodo is at the forefront of spatial computing, where mapping connects the digital and physical worlds. As a ML Data Engineer, you will play the key role in owning the entire lifecycle of data used for ML and CV development. Working with CV engineers, you will develop the ML model evaluation and testing process and criteria that gate model deployment; you will partner with ML infrastructure engineers to develop the continuous ML data pipeline and tooling that serves tens of thousands of stores worldwide.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own the end to end data lifecycle for large scale computer vision and ML development: from defining, collecting, curating, updating, cataloging to versioning.

• Define and own ML model evaluation and testing methodology, process and metrics - fir both development and production.

• Partner with ML infrastructure engineers to define and develop ML CI/CD.

• Collect, manage, analyze and visualize large scale data sets using data platforms, tools and techniques.

• Analyze evaluation and performance data to extract meaningful insights to improve AI models.

Experience & Qualifications

• Expertise in end to end data development, model evaluation and performance analytics for deep learning and ML

• Strong in Python and SQL

• Proficient in analysis and building for data analytics tooling and visualization - that is, comfortable also outside notebooks and Jupyter to be proficient in using Python and data tooling to realize systems supporting data management

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• 5 years of experience in data science or related roles

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related technical field.

• Experience developing analytics, evaluation and visualization for petabyte-scale, real-time data processing pipelines and products.

• Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, CI/CD, and/or Docker

$155,000 - $210,000 USD + Equity
