DescriptionWe are looking for a forward-thinking Generative AI (GenAI) Chatbot Developer to architect, implement, and continuously evolve intelligent, conversational AI solutions that transform the IT support experience. In this role, you'll lead the development of next-generation AI chatbots powered by large language models (LLMs), multi-agent systems, and contextual automation — enabling dynamic, natural language-driven support for healthcare professionals.
You'll work at the intersection of NLP, machine learning, and healthcare IT, building solutions that automate issue resolution, streamline support workflows, and ensure the secure handling of sensitive medical data. If you're excited about applying state-of-the-art GenAI tools to solve real-world problems, this is the opportunity for you.
Due to the clients you will be assigned, this position requires you to be eligible to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Chatbot Development:
Design, build, and maintain scalable GenAI chatbots to support IT functions, including incident triage, password resets, system diagnostics, and automated ticket handling. - LLM Integration & Orchestration:
Leverage and fine-tune large language models (e.g., GPT-4, LLaMA, Claude) for use in conversational AI. Build agents using frameworks such as AutoGen, ReAct, CrewAI, and others to enable reasoning, task decomposition, and multi-turn interactions. - NLP & Context Management:
Implement robust intent recognition, entity extraction, and contextual awareness using transformer-based models to ensure accurate and meaningful conversations. - Dialogue Management:
Create dynamic dialogue flows using decision trees and ML-driven interaction strategies, enabling adaptive, human-like exchanges across complex IT scenarios. - Knowledge Integration:
Connect the chatbot to internal knowledge bases, FAQs, and SOP repositories using vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines. - IT Automation:
Integrate with ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) to enable automatic issue tracking, routing, prioritization, and escalation workflows. - Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze chatbot performance metrics (resolution rates, user satisfaction, turnaround time), and implement iterative improvements based on feedback and data.
Required Skills and Experience:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in developing AI/LLM-powered chatbot applications, preferably in healthcare or enterprise IT environments.
- Due to the clients you will be assigned, this position requires you to be eligible to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Technical Proficiency:
- Languages: Strong in Python (preferred), JavaScript, and/or Java.
- LLM & NLP Toolkits: Experience with Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, ReAct, AutoGen, OpenAI APIs, and vector search tools.
- ML Frameworks: Proficient in PyTorch or TensorFlow, with experience training or fine-tuning models such as BERT, GPT, or T5.
- Conversational Platforms: Familiarity with Dialogflow, Rasa, Microsoft Bot Framework, or custom LLM-based stacks.
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI) for AI/ML deployments and API integrations.
- Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of HIPAA and GDPR in healthcare applications.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to debug complex AI systems.
- Clear communicator who can explain technical solutions to both engineers and non-technical healthcare stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player with a passion for building user-centric solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience applying Reinforcement Learning or RLHF to chatbot training.
- Prior work with multi-agent conversational systems or autonomous task orchestration.
- Understanding of ITSM best practices in healthcare environments.
- Familiarity with continuous learning systems to adapt to evolving user needs and IT challenges.
If you're passionate about building GenAI-powered solutions that make IT support more intuitive and efficient for healthcare professionals, we'd love to hear from you.
