Job Title: Video Editor
Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with a strong passion for storytelling and visual communication. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in producing high-quality video content for ads, social media, and other digital platforms. This role requires not only technical proficiency in editing tools but also a creative eye for pacing, transitions, and visual impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce engaging video content for advertisements, social media campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand project objectives and deliver videos aligned with brand guidelines.
- Add graphics, animations, effects, sound design, and music to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Manage the full post-production process, including cutting, color grading, audio balancing, and motion graphics integration.
- Repurpose and optimize content across various digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, editing techniques, and best practices for social and digital media.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of social media content formats, trends, and platform-specific requirements.
- Experience with storyboarding, motion graphics, and visual effects is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Knowledge of color correction and sound design.
- Creative problem-solving with a keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling.
