Job Title: Video Editor
Location: Remote
Work Shift: PST preferred for meetings (7am–2pm)
Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, flexible within 7 AM–2 PM PST


Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly creative and performance-driven Video Editor with a strong focus on short-form content for social media ads. You’ll be responsible for editing engaging, attention-grabbing video ads that directly support acquisition goals across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and more.

This role requires someone who understands the nuances of social-first editing, can think like a marketer, and knows how to create content that not only entertains—but converts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit high-performing short-form ads tailored for various social media platforms
  • Interpret and execute on creative briefs aligned with performance and acquisition metrics
  • Take initiative in suggesting new creative ideas and formats based on platform trends
  • Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure videos align with brand and campaign goals
  • Optimize videos to capture attention quickly and drive action (scroll-stopping intros, CTA placement, etc.)
  • Stay current on social media trends and ad performance best practices


Requirements
  • Proven experience editing social media video ads with a focus on acquisition and performance marketing
  • Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar
  • Strong creative instincts paired with an analytical mindset toward ad performance
  • Ability to take direction from creative briefs but also bring original ideas to the table
  • Deep understanding of what makes content thumb-stopping, shareable, and conversion-focused
  • Portfolio of edited social ads that demonstrate creative and performance results

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in DTC, eCommerce, or mobile-first brands
  • Familiarity with A/B testing creatives and performance data analysis
  • Basic motion graphics or animation skills
