DescriptionWe’re looking for a scrappy, fast-paced video editor with killer instincts for timing, pacing, and storytelling.
In this role, you’ll be editing 20–30 short-form videos per month for social media, ads, and promo content. We provide the b-roll, clips, and creative direction—you bring the energy, creativity, and speed.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Edit high-volume short-form videos (TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts, ads, promos) with quick turnarounds
- Use provided footage, stock assets, and b-roll to create compelling and dynamic edits
- Nail timing, rhythm, and pacing to boost engagement and watch time
- Revise and iterate based on feedback—fast
- Keep content fresh while staying on-brand
- Suggest creative ideas for transitions, SFX, or music when appropriate
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For:
- Proven experience editing fast-paced, high-energy short-form content (portfolio required)
- Efficiency and speed – able to edit 5–7 videos per week without sacrificing quality
- A sharp instinct for cuts, pacing, and storytelling
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro (or similar tools like Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve)
- Able to work independently with minimal hand-holding
- Strong understanding of visual flow and engagement tactics
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar)
- Color correction or sound design experience
- Familiarity with social trends and formats on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Background in advertising, agency work, or branded content
- Great taste in music/SFX selection
