Wedding Video Editor

Role: Video Editor
Hours: 8am - 4pm Mountain Standard Time
Hourly Wage: $7 - $10 (Open to negotiation based on experience)

Lago is looking for a skilled and passionate Video Editor to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing visual stories to life through dynamic video content, including wedding video editing. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and content creation teams to produce high-quality videos for our website, social media platforms, promotional campaigns, and wedding clients. Your expertise will help capture audience attention and effectively communicate brand messages.

Responsibilities

• Edit both short-form vertical videos and long-form horizontal videos, including wedding highlight reels and full wedding films.
• Create engaging, high-quality video content with smooth transitions, captions, animations, and attention-grabbing edits.
• Design custom thumbnails for long-form videos to enhance visibility and engagement.
• Optimize videos for different social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Work with clients' raw footage, ensuring edits align with their brand, message, and audience preferences.
• Enhance wedding videos with cinematic effects, color correction, and storytelling elements to capture emotions and key moments.
• Manage and post content on social media channels.
• Stay updated on social media trends, video editing techniques, and best practices to enhance content performance.

• Proven experience as a Wedding Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Understanding of video formatting for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
• Strong storytelling skills and a creative mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback and make revisions accordingly.
