Data Science and Analytics

• $245–$280 per hour

• 100% remote

• Part-time

• Fully flexible schedule

Evaluate data science and statistics answers from AI systems on your own schedule and help improve their quantitative reasoning.

In AI training work, people review model answers, write prompts and prepare the examples that AI systems learn from. The teams building these systems need data scientists who can create realistic problems, judge how well the AI handles technical questions, write the answer a professional would give, and explain where its methods or statistics fall short. Your evaluations help improve the accuracy and reasoning of AI answers on data science problems. This is remote, part-time contractor work applying your data science expertise to AI model review.

What you'll do

• Assess model responses to problems in statistics, machine learning and data science

• Write expert prompts and assemble datasets with reference solutions that follow sound technical practice

• Check each approach and flag statistical errors, weak quantitative reasoning or flawed methods

• Classify responses as correct, incomplete or unsound, then deliver structured feedback to improve the model

Why this is worth your time

• Earn $245–$280 an hour while assessing AI-generated data science answers and explaining subtle errors

• Judge AI model answers across data science and statistics, covering machine learning, experimentation and quantitative reasoning

• Apply statistical and data science judgment to evaluate how well AI systems reason about experiments and methods

• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute

Who this is for

• Professional work with a leading employer in technology, finance or research must total at least one year; some of that work must fall within the past seven years

• Strong knowledge across data science, statistics, machine learning, experimentation and quantitative reasoning

• Preferred: an undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university

• Clear written communication of technical concepts and professional communication in English, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting

• You can evaluate AI outputs, identify flawed methods and statistical errors, and write clear reference solutions based on sound technical practice.

• No experience in AI training work needed. Your data science judgment helps evaluate and improve AI-generated technical answers.

Pay and details

• $245–$280 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor

• Part-time, flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
