Overview:
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor with strong graphic design skills to create engaging, on-brand video and visual content for marketing, social media, product promotions, and client deliverables. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, knows how to convert a script into a compelling video, and has great instincts for selecting the right stock assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit high-quality video content for YouTube, social media, ads, and websites.
- Convert scripts into engaging video content with a clear storyline, visuals, and pacing.
- Select and integrate stock footage, music, and images from royalty-free platforms with strong aesthetic judgment.
- Apply transitions, effects, motion graphics, subtitles, and sound design.
- Design eye-catching graphics (thumbnails, banners, social posts, ad creatives).
- Repurpose long-form videos into short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
- Ensure all visual content follows brand guidelines and is optimized for engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and social teams on concept execution.
- Manage video and graphic asset libraries and file organization systems.
- Deliver final files on time and in multiple formats for various platforms.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in video editing and graphic design.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong eye for sourcing and selecting appropriate stock assets (video, photo, music).
- Experience turning written scripts into dynamic video content.
- Familiar with tools like Canva, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic animation or motion graphics knowledge.
- Solid understanding of content trends, aspect ratios, and platform requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong portfolio showing both video and design work.
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience with YouTube content creation or podcast editing.
- Knowledge of brand storytelling and marketing funnels.
- Familiarity with AI video tools (Runway ML, Pika, Sora) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX or web graphics is a bonus.
