Pay Range

USD $128,960.00 - USD $161,201.00 /Yr.

Overview

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Manager, Enterprise Data Governance to join our Data department! 

 

The primary responsibility will be implementing the Navitus Enterprise Data Governance operating model and creating and maintaining an accurate inventory of enterprise data assets for the organization. This role serves as the primary engagement lead working closely with Data Stewards and business stakeholders across the enterprise to leverage Navitus data assets best and enable critical Navitus growth use cases.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Collaborating with subject matter experts, functional owners, data domain owners, data stewards, and analysts, supports defining and implementing data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure critical enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable
  • Supports the Sr. Director of Data Governance in leading key data initiatives for Navitus, including managing day-to-day activities of the Enterprise Data Governance operating model implementation
  • Maintain appropriate data documentation, including master data management, data quality report inventory, enterprise data definitions, policies & procedures, etc
  • Assess the current data management processes, identify challenges, quantify the business value, establish procedures to address challenges, and support the future state model and vision definition
  • Define, develop, and measure data quality and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor data quality continuously
  • Continuously review and validate master data for accuracy and quality; regularly monitor for missing and inconsistent data
  • Perform root-cause analysis on data problems, then recommend and execute or oversee corrective actions
  • Develop communication and training plans needed to implement governance policies
  • Prepare and organize presentation materials for key stakeholder meetings, including Enterprise Data Governance Committee, Data Governance Working Groups, and Senior Leadership Team
  • Research and remain current with Cloud computing and data management methodologies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or other relevant technical field of study
  • Prior experience with healthcare data required. Prior experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management organizations highly preferred
  • 15+ years of experience including at least 1 in Master Data / Systems Role including management of a data governance program or one of its major components (MDM, etc.), preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Experience with data management tools (data catalog, data profiling, data lineage, etc.)
  • Experience designing and developing data governance policies and standards
  • Advanced experience and skills using data analytics tools and products
  • Develop and deliver data governance training programs for employees to increase awareness and understanding of data privacy and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with Business, It, risk, legal, compliance, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignments and consistency in data governance practices
  • Highly organized with excellent project management and communication skills
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data governance and overall data management
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
