This is a Cybersecurity Engineering II position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

Role Description:


ITSO for iComply (Product Definition): Product and process that is used to perform risk analysis of OpenPages risks, Risk acceptances and platform level controls for Cloud, Payment Systems and Gen AI. iComply is used to meet regulatory requirements for US Banks, ORD and Cloud and produces reporting and analysis that is used for CGC, CGWG which is ultimately communicated to regulatory bodies as needed. Reporting via the iComply process was previously used in iCCR 2023 for cloud. iComply writes directly to RACER and allows SecDesign Process and Governance to own issue level tagging in OpenPages on behalf of business and technology teams. 

What you'll do in the role:


•    Data Analysis maintenance, modification, and extension of all data analysis capabilities used by the iComply platform and external to the platform to meet reporting requirements. 
•    Platforms include iComply with DAX and Python for data and keyword analysis, and JIRA and JQL for issue extraction from JIRA. 
•    Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining operational documentation related to data analysis and sign off. 
•    Platform maintenance, modification, and extension - PowerBI, DB2 connectivity, Sybase connectivity, semantic data model/ composite model creation within PowerBI. Platform extension includes maintenance of the iComply platform strategy, operational documentation, and ownership of the iComply Platform JIRA pipeline. 
•    Responsible for establishing and automating all connectivity to downstream and upstream data sources including core security repositories - CEDAR and RACER, iDesigner, Archer, TAI, TCP - Technology Controls Portal, CCM - Continuous Control Monitoring Portal and Cloud Security and newly acquired affiliate security repositories. 
•    Role must be capable of backing up iComply ITSO (Data Engineer) for maintenance of Python analysis scripts, data parsing scripts and reporting / view creation to meet ad hoc client requirements. 
•    Role requires interface with 2LOD, Risk Officers, Security Personnel in Cyber (Cloud Security and SecurityDesign) business representatives (Payments and US Banks) and ITSOs of various data sources/ repositories to expand platform, model data acquisition, and expand write capability into OpenPages. 

What you'll bring to the role:

•    Role is responsible for working with the wider team in Security Design - Process and Governance to classify and tag Issues and APs that are present in OpenPages and ensuring that all items are aligned to the appropriate area - Cloud (by platform, service and impact), Payments (US Banks in 2024, expanding to global payments in 2025) and GenAI (beginning in Q1 2025). 
•    Role is responsible for representing Security Design - Process and Governance in key tagging and risk discussions with 2LOD and business representatives (Cloud Fleet and US Banks). 
•    Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
•    Excellent communication skills: written, oral, presentation and listening.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
